flattery is the same as an addiction, like vice. needing something outside of self to determine a stable or healthy state of mind. the best thing you can do is realize anything she says is only as meaningful as you choose to make it. this is the correct way to approach the scenario just because it allows you to go unhed yb anything that is said by this woman and allows her to become aware of her own faults on her own time and not force her in any way, psychological or social.
