Is Torres the most overrated player in the world?

I'm a die hard Liverpool fan, but just can't understand why my fellow reds see Torres as such an irreplaceable god. He is a good player but he is just far too inconsistent to me. He seems to run in slow motion also. If I had my way I would sell him to city for xxx millions, whatever they are prepared to pay.
