I don’t get Twilight, please help me understand?

I agree with the first answer,But this movie had so many holes it was like swiss cheese , if you didnt read the book you had no idea of the relationship depth or what the hell was going on at some points, And no I hate Kristin Stewart as bella and robert pattinson as edward , I thought Brandon Lee would have played it well but he died awhile ago.
