Campus placements for biotech. engineering?

i m quite interested in doing biotechnology engineering. some say dat it has a bright future abroad and comparatively it has a lesser scope back home. so i hv one question whether i wud get gud campus placements rit after my graduation in dis field? if yes, in wich type of companies?? as far as r&d is concerned, wich r d suitable job options n wot r d companies?
