My stepfather took out a lease for me and I make the payments.The lease is almost up and he wants out.?

I had planned on getting a loan and buying out the lease. Since then my credit has gone down the toilet. I was demoted at work and lost a salary. I wasn't able to make timely payments. (almost 180 days past due on a couple). To make a long story short I can't get the loan and my stepfather wants out of the lease. I'm already working on fixing my credit but it will be too late buy the time the lease is up. Any advice?

How long does it take drawing salve to get a splinter out?

I got a splinter at work the other day and am too much of a pansy to get it out with tweezers. I put drawing salve on it with the umption it would come out in about a day. Its been about a day and a half and it looks exactly the same. Is it suppose to take this long? Am I supposed to do anything else after I put it on or does it just end up in the bandaid I put over it?
